Big Push to P4: ₹1 Crore Donation for Yajali Village

Public participation in Andhra Pradesh’s ‘P4 Margadarsi – Bangaru Kutumbam’ programme is gaining momentum , with a notable contribution from Bapatla district.

Gundreddy Satyanarayana , a native of Yajali village in Karlapalem mandal, donated ₹1 crore for local development . He presented the cheque to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu during the ‘Mee Bhoomi–Mee Hakku’ programme at Surepalli, while also seeking road construction in his village.

Officials said the funds will be used to improve infrastructure in Yajali. The Chief Minister, in a post on X, praised the contribution as a reflection of social responsibility and expressed hope it would encourage similar support.

Launched in Amaravati in 2025, the P4 initiative aims to reduce economic disparities by encouraging the top 10 percent to support the bottom 20 percent of underprivileged families , with a focus on livelihoods, education, and skill development .

The contribution is being viewed as a positive step in mobilising public support, as the government continues to encourage greater participation from financially sections to strengthen rural development .
