Bhumana Karunakar Reddy Urges Party Reinforcement Starting at Booth Level

The YSR Congress Party has intensified its election preparations ahead of the upcoming polls. A review meeting was held in Tirupati on Friday with booth-level agents, party workers , and constituency leaders from Tirupati district and Chittoor district.

District party president Bhumana Karunakar Reddy called booth committees the backbone of the party and urged strengthening the organization from the grassroots to improve election readiness .

He criticized Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, noting growing public dissatisfaction over the past two years, and stressed that preventing double voting in line with Election Commission of India guidelines is a top priority. Party leaders were urged to remain alert, attend election meetings, and safeguard voter lists.

Former minister R. K. Roja accused the ruling Telugu Desam Party of pressuring officials to remove votes illegally. She called on party workers to identify bogus voters and ensure all eligible citizens above 18 are registered. Roja also highlighted rising public dissatisfaction over the state’s financial condition, suggesting people are ready to deliver a decisive verdict against the government.

The meeting saw participation from constituency in-charges, booth committee representatives, and a large number of party workers.
