Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday directed officials to ensure that permanent buildings are constructed for all Gram Panchayats across the state within the next three years . The instruction came during a pre-budget meeting held at the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat , where he reviewed departmental plans along with ministers Jupally Krishna Rao , Seethakka , Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy , and Gaddam Vivek .

Stressing the need to strengthen rural administration, he asked officials to explore building Tahsildar offices and MPDO offices within a single administrative complex wherever land is available, enabling smoother delivery of public services. He also directed authorities to focus on improving Anganwadi centres , ensuring better child health , nutrition, and learning methods to support early brain development among children, and asked the Panchayat Raj Department to prepare an action plan for implementation.

The Deputy Chief Minister also highlighted the importance of skill development to boost employment among youth. He suggested introducing advanced courses in Advanced Technology Centres aligned with the requirements of industries that signed agreements during the Global Summit , and integrating them with the proposed Skill University to create better job opportunities. Referring to the state’s CURE, PURE, RARE policy framework, he said training programmes should equip young people with industry-relevant skills. Bhatti Vikramarka further stated that sand mining in tribal agency areas should be carried out exclusively through tribal agencies with support from ITDAs to strengthen tribal livelihoods and promote entrepreneurship.

He also asked officials to prepare proposals for setting up new Excise Police Stations and to expand the tourism sector across Telangana. During the discussions, he reiterated that the government aims to fulfil the dream of home ownership for the poor through the Indiramma Housing Scheme , while improving transparency and efficiency in revenue services under Bhu Bharati , ensuring faster delivery of public services while prioritising welfare-focused governance.
