BharatBenz Expands North India Presence with New 3S Facility in Gorakhpur
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), the maker of BharatBenz trucks and buses, has strengthened its presence in North India with the inauguration of a new 3S (Sales, Service and Spares) facility in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, in partnership with PPS Trucking.
Located at Kasarol Village in Sahjanwa, within the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA) region, the 75,000 sq. ft. facility is positioned along NH 27, providing access to key routes connecting Lucknow, Ayodhya and Gorakhpur.
The facility has 11 fully equipped bays, including nine service bays and two accident-repair bays, with an annual servicing capacity of up to 4,100 vehicles. It is equipped with advanced diagnostic systems, modern tools and an inventory of genuine BharatBenz spare parts to support faster maintenance and turnaround times.
Customers will also have access to 24x7 roadside assistance, supported by mobile service vans. The facility includes a washing bay and wheel-alignment facility, along with dedicated rest areas and customer amenities aimed at improving convenience for drivers and fleet operators.
Gorakhpur is an important commercial and logistics hub connecting Eastern Uttar Pradesh with Central Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, the Northeast and Nepal. The region sees considerable commercial vehicle movement linked to agriculture, construction, infrastructure, industrial activity and the transportation of materials such as sand and stone chips. Its location on NH 27 is expected to make the facility accessible to local fleets as well as intercity buses and other vehicles travelling through the region.
DICV President and Chief Business Officer Rajiv Chaturvedi said the expansion would improve customer access to genuine parts, trained technical expertise and faster service support.
PPS Trucking Managing Director Rajiv Sanghvi said the new outlet takes the company's network in Uttar Pradesh to 20 touchpoints, strengthening its ability to serve customers across the region.
The centre will be operated by 48 trained and certified technicians and will offer preventive maintenance, scheduled servicing, on-site support and express service options. The expansion is aimed at improving vehicle uptime and reducing operational disruptions for BharatBenz truck and bus customers.
