Bellamkonda Sreenivas Opens Up About 'Tyson Naidu' Delay, Says His Work Is Complete
Actor Bellamkonda Sreenivas has finally addressed the prolonged delay surrounding his much-awaited action entertainer 'Tyson Naidu', revealing that he completed his work on the film long ago. The actor said the producers would be best placed to explain the reasons behind the delay, adding that he has no control over its release date.
Sreenivas made the comments during the teaser launch of his upcoming mystery thriller 'Haindava', which is scheduled to hit theatres on November 27, 2026. When asked about 'Tyson Naidu', directed by Saagar K Chandra of 'Bheemla Nayak' fame, the actor clarified that his portions had been completed well before the film's expected release.
“Producers will be the right people to answer about it. My work for the film has been completed. It should have been released even before 'Bhairavam'. I was told that the movie will be released after 'Akhanda 2'. I don’t have a say in the release date as I am just a hero in it and not a producer,” he said.
The prolonged wait has left fans wondering when the film will finally reach cinemas. Previous reports indicated that the shooting of 'Tyson Naidu' had been completed and post-production work was also wrapped up. The makers were reportedly working on digital and other non-theatrical deals to recover a significant portion of their investment and facilitate a smooth theatrical release.
Produced by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, the film features Nabha Natesh as the female lead, with Bheems Ceciroleo composing the music. The project was expected to arrive before 'Bhairavam', but its release plans have continued to change.
The production house's financial difficulties also came into focus following the postponement of Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Akhanda 2' in December 2025. That film eventually arrived in theatres on December 12 after the makers worked to resolve the issues.
Meanwhile, Sreenivas is gearing up for 'Haindava', directed by Ludheer Byreddy and co-starring Samyuktha. The thriller follows an atheist police officer investigating a mysterious case involving missing temple idols and a murder, setting up a conflict between faith and reason.
