BDL Opens Applications for 156 Apprentice Posts

A recruitment notification for 156 Apprentice posts has been released by Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), inviting Online applications from eligible ITI-qualified candidates. The application window was opened on November 24, 2025, and will remain active until December 8, 2025, on the official website bdl-india.in . The notification has been issued under the provisions of the Apprentice Act, 1961, and the selection process will be based strictly on merit.

According to the notification, the recruitment drive has been taken up to fill apprentice positions across multiple trades at BDL’s Kanchanbagh unit in Hyderabad. A total of 156 posts have been notified, and candidates meeting the required qualifications have been encouraged to submit their applications within the stipulated time.

The trade-wise vacancies notified by Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) include 70 posts for Fitter, 10 for Electrician, 30 for Electronics Mechanic, 15 for Machinist, 2 for Machinist Grinder, 5 for Mechanic Diesel, 5 for Mechanic R & AC, 15 for Turner, and 4 for Welder, and all these positions have been reserved for candidates who have successfully completed their ITI course in the respective trades. Applicants must possess an ITI qualification to be eligible, and the age criteria have been set between 14 and 30 years, with permissible relaxations extended to reserved-category candidates as per government rules, while no application fee has been mentioned. The selection process will be carried out through a merit list based on the marks secured in both 10th/SSC and ITI, with equal weightage assigned to each, and separate lists will be prepared for every trade; no written test or interview has been included, making academic marks the only selection parameter. Candidates have been instructed to register on the national apprenticeship portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in, ensuring that their Aadhaar details exactly match their SSC records, and then search for Bharat Dynamics Limited, Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad (Reg. No. E05203600393) under “Establishment Search” before uploading clear, color-scanned copies of their SSC marksheet, ITI marksheet, provisional certificate, and caste certificate. After completing the Online submission, applicants must send hard copies of their registration form and supporting documents by post to the Manager (HR) Apprentice, Bharat Dynamics Limited, Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad – 500058, and these documents must reach the office by December 10, 2025, as only postal submissions will be considered for final selection.
