Bangalore hosts Tech Summit 2025: Shaping the future of innovation

Bengaluru hosts the 28th Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS 2025) from November 18 to 20, marking one of Asia’s largest gatherings of innovators, global tech companies, investors and future-ready startups. The summit will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), with Deputy Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar and senior officials in attendance.

This year’s theme, “Futurise,” sets the direction for a summit that dives deep into artificial intelligence, deep tech, semiconductors, digital health, space technology, clean tech, global collaboration and cutting-edge research. Organised by the Department of Electronics, Information Technology and Biotechnology (IT&BT) along with the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), BTS 2025 is set to welcome over 50,000 visitors, 500 speakers, 1,000 exhibitors, and delegations from 60 countries.

A key highlight this year is the unveiling of the Karnataka Information Technology Policy 2025-30, the Karnataka Startup Policy 2025-30, and the first Karnataka Space Technology Policy. These policies aim to strengthen innovation, attract global investments and expand Karnataka’s technology footprint beyond Bengaluru.

The IT policy promotes advanced tech development, including AI, cybersecurity, quantum computing and semiconductor design, while encouraging companies to set up operations in tier 2 and tier 3 cities. The Startup Policy, backed by ₹518.27 crore, targets 25,000 startups statewide and emphasises deep-tech, biotech, green-tech and mobility innovations. The Space Technology Policy aims to position Karnataka as a key commercial space hub with support for satellite manufacturing, remote sensing, testing facilities and industry-ISRO collaborations.

Visitors can expect a comprehensive technology experience across the three-day summit. The exhibition floor will host 1,000+ stalls featuring new products, robotics, AI systems, biotech solutions, semiconductor innovations, clean energy technologies and space-tech prototypes. Companies from over 60 countries will demonstrate global technologies, while Indian startups will showcase solutions in healthcare, fintech, mobility, smart cities and agritech.

The summit will run 10 major conference tracks, including IT & DeepTech, Electro-Semicon, Digi-Health & Biotech, India-USA Tech Conclave, and Startup Ecosystem. Sub-tracks like AI Universe, Defence & SpaceTech, Finverse and Women in Leadership will bring focused discussions on emerging areas.

Attendees will benefit from over 80 high-level knowledge sessions, live demos, panel discussions and fireside conversations with leaders from ISRO, major tech companies, global venture funds and research institutions. The event also brings the Future Makers Conclave, bringing together 10,000 founders, investors and innovators for networking, collaborations and deal-making.

Startups will gain access to dedicated platforms like Investor Connect, enabling direct meetings with venture capital firms, and Mentor Connect, where young entrepreneurs can receive personalized guidance from industry veterans. Numerous product launches, partnership announcements and government–industry collaborations are also expected during the summit.

Last year’s edition saw heavy footfall, international delegations, deep-tech innovations and multiple startup funding conversations. With a larger venue, more international participation and major policy releases, BTS 2025 is poised to deliver an even bigger technology showcase, offering visitors a close look at the future of global innovation.
