Akhanda 2 is moving into its final stage of post-production with a major technical upgrade, as the team prepares the film for a full-fledged 3D release. Along with this, a grand trailer event is being planned in Hyderabad on November 28, 2025, though an official announcement from the makers is still awaited. The team believes the spiritual action, high-intensity visuals and Boyapati Sreenu’s trademark mass elevation sequences will have an even stronger impact in the 3D format, and internal discussions confirm that the makers are gearing up for a packed promotional run leading into the trailer launch.

A nationwide promotional schedule has already been finalised, beginning with the second song launch in Vizag on November 18, followed by a grand Karnataka event on November 21. The Chennai event along with a press meet is set for November 22, and a special vehicle launch event will take place on November 23. On November 24, the unit will conduct a grand spiritual event in Kaasi, amplifying the film’s thematic core. After the Hyderabad pre-release event on November 28, the makers will take the promotions overseas, with USA events set for December 2 and 3.

The film is being prepared for a multilingual theatrical release on December 5, 2025, and internal timelines indicate that the team is aiming to meet this target across all regions. With the 3D upgrade, nationwide events and international promotional plans, Akhanda 2 is being positioned for one of the biggest and most anticipated mass releases of the year, even as fans continue to await an official announcement from the production house.
