Bajaj auto reports 9% YoY sales growth in Sept 2025

Bajaj Auto Ltd. reported a 9 per cent year-on-year growth in overall sales for September 2025, driven by strong performance in both two-wheeler and commercial vehicle segments. The company sold a total of 5,10,504 units last month, up from 4,69,531 units in September 2024.

Domestic sales reached 3,25,252 units, marking a 4 per cent rise from 3,11,887 units a year ago, while exports surged 18 per cent to 1,85,252 units from 1,57,644 units in the same period last year.

In the two-wheeler segment, Bajaj Auto sold 4,30,853 units, an 8 per cent increase from 4,00,489 units in September 2024. Domestic two-wheeler sales rose 5 per cent to 2,73,188 units, compared to 2,59,333 units in the previous year, while exports grew 12 per cent to 1,57,665 units from 1,41,156 units.

Commercial vehicle sales stood at 79,651 units, a 15 per cent increase over 69,042 units in September 2024. Domestic sales in this category were largely stable at 52,064 units, down slightly from 52,554 units, whereas exports jumped 67 per cent to 27,587 units from 16,488 units.

For the six-month period from April to September 2025, Bajaj Auto recorded total sales of 24,05,357 units, a 4 per cent increase from 23,23,560 units in the same period last year. Two-wheeler sales for the half-year reached 20,17,778 units, up 20 per cent from 19,84,125 units in 2024, with domestic sales declining 8 per cent to 11,25,920 units and exports rising 17 per cent to 8,91,858 units.

Commercial vehicle sales for April-September were 3,87,579 units, up 14 per cent from 3,39,435 units last year. Domestic sales remained steady at 2,49,681 units, while exports increased 51 per cent to 1,37,898 units from 91,401 units during the same period.

Bajaj Auto’s September performance highlights continued growth in exports, especially in the commercial vehicle segment, while domestic two-wheeler sales showed modest gains.
