‘Avengers: Endgame’ to Return to Indian Theatres on September 25 as ‘Encore’ Edition
Marvel Studios is giving fans another opportunity to experience one of the biggest films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the big screen. ‘Avengers: Endgame’ will return to theatres across India on September 25, 2026, under a new release titled ‘Avengers: Endgame: Encore’.
The special re-release comes ahead of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, which is scheduled to arrive later this year. Announcing the return, Marvel Studios released a new 1-minute-and-36-second trailer, inviting fans to “Reassemble the team & relive the experience.”
The trailer revisits some of the film's most memorable moments with updated colour grading and minor dialogue changes. It also features real footage of audiences reacting to several major scenes during the film's original theatrical run, adding a nostalgic touch to the re-release.
‘Avengers: Endgame: Encore’ will be screened in formats including IMAX and Infinity Vision, while advance bookings have already opened. The theatrical re-release will also feature an exclusive preview of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, offering fans an early glimpse of the next chapter in the Avengers saga.
Originally released in 2019, ‘Avengers: Endgame’ followed the devastating aftermath of Thanos' snap, which wiped out half of all life in the universe. The surviving Avengers ultimately reunited for a final mission to reverse the destruction and bring their fallen allies back.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and produced by Kevin Feige, the blockbuster became one of the defining cinematic events of its generation and brought the Infinity Saga to a major conclusion.
Now, as Marvel prepares to continue the story with ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, the ‘Endgame’ re-release gives audiences a chance to relive the film's biggest moments in theatres once again.
