Avatar to Hit OTT: Oscar-Winning Epic Comes Home on June 24, to Stream on Disney+ and JioHotstar

James Cameron's Avatar: Fire and Ash , the third instalment in the billion-dollar Pandora saga, is officially making its way to streaming platforms. The makers confirmed on May 13 that the film will begin streaming on Disney+ from June 24 . In India, audiences can catch it on JioHotstar from the same date. The film is expected to be available in multiple languages, including Hindi , making it accessible to a wide Indian audience.

Released in cinemas on December 19, 2025 , the film enjoyed more than six months on the big screen. It grossed an impressive $1.486 billion at the global box office, making it one of the biggest cinematic successes of 2025 . The trilogy has now reportedly become the highest-grossing film trilogy of all time .

Helmed by James Cameron, the film continues the story of Jake Sully and Neytiri as they navigate a mission to protect their family after a d evastating personal loss.
