Atchannaidu Assures Full Support For Palasa-Kasibugga, Salur Development
Andhra Pradesh Minister Atchannaidu has assured full support from the coalition government for the development of Palasa-Kasibugga and Salur, stating that special attention would be given to improving infrastructure and civic amenities in both towns.
The minister made the assurance while congratulating newly elected Palasa-Kasibugga Municipal Chairperson Vajja Ganga Bhavani and 31 coalition councillors at his Nimmada camp office on Friday. He said the coalition's victory in the municipal elections reflected the trust people had placed in the government.
Atchannaidu credited party workers for the electoral success, saying their dedication and continuous efforts despite several challenges had played a significant role. He added that those who worked selflessly for the party would receive due recognition and respect.
Urging the newly elected representatives to honour the people's trust, he asked them to remain accessible and work with commitment. He said the government aimed to transform Palasa-Kasibugga into a model town by prioritising drinking water supply, sanitation, roads, drainage and other essential infrastructure. He assured that both the government and he personally would extend all necessary assistance.
The minister also congratulated Gorle Vijayakumari, the newly elected Salur Municipal Chairperson from the Jana Sena Party, who met him at his camp office. He called upon coalition leaders to work together and coordinate their efforts to accelerate the town's development. Resolving problems related to roads, drinking water and sanitation should be given priority, he said.
Meanwhile, Atchannaidu expressed concern over reports of students suffering from fever at a Gurukul school in Parvathipuram, Manyam district. He spoke to the District Collector and health department officials to assess the situation and directed them to provide immediate and quality medical treatment to the affected students.
He instructed officials to ensure that there was no negligence in providing healthcare and sought a detailed report on the causes of the fever outbreak. He also called for preventive measures to avoid similar incidents and directed Tribal Welfare Department officials to closely monitor students' health.
