Atal-Modi Good Governance Yatra’ begins in AP, with MP CM as chief guest

The Andhra Pradesh BJP kicked off the “Atal-Modi Good Governance Yatra” on Thursday, marking the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The campaign, which began in Dharmavaram, will run across the state from December 11 to 25, serving as a precursor to the NDA rallies.

The event started with a rally flagged off from the BJP office in Dharmavaram, featuring 500 motorcycles and 200 cars. According to BJP state president P.V.N. Madhav, the yatra aims to strengthen NDA coordination and encourage youth participation across southern districts. Each day, the yatra will cover two districts.

The launch ceremony was attended by Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav and other BJP leaders. The leaders paid tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee by unveiling his statue. The event also saw the presence of Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, as the chief guest.

As part of the celebrations, 1,000 free bicycles were distributed to 10th-grade students at government schools in Dharmavaram, under the initiative of the Cultural Volunteer Service Committee. The distribution was carried out by Madhav and Mohan Yadav.
