In a daring daylight heist, four armed criminals looted over Rs 6 crore worth of gold and cash from a Bank of Maharashtra branch in Jharkhand’s Hazaribag district on Friday, police said.
The robbery took place around 3.10 pm at the bank’s Barhi branch , which falls under the Barhi police station limits . According to officials, the assailants struck during lunchtime , when the bank premises were relatively empty.

After collecting the valuables, the robbers reportedly locked the bank premises from outside to delay any immediate response and fled the spot.
