Araku Valley Farmers Shine on Global Stage with High-End NANOLOT Coffee

Araku Coffee, India’s celebrated specialty coffee brand, has entered an exciting new chapter with the launch of its NANOLOT Series , a rare and premium collection that showcases the finest coffee from the Araku Valley of Andhra Pradesh.

For over 25 years, the Naandi Foundation has worked closely with subsistence farmers in the region, providing regenerative farming inputs and training in best practices to produce high-quality Arabica coffee. The initiative not only aims to improve farmers’ livelihoods but also ensures that their exceptional coffee is recognized on the global specialty coffee stage .

The NANOLOT Series represents the rarest expression of Araku coffee, grown on single plots managed by individual farmers. Each batch is harvested in extremely small quantities and carefully processed and roasted in micro-batches, preserving the unique characteristics of the farm known in the coffee world as terroir. This approach, traditionally used in winemaking, captures the influence of soil, microclimate, and landscape on the coffee’s flavor.

Priced at ₹10,000 per kilogram (approximately USD 100 per kilogram) , the NANOLOT Series is among the highest-priced Indian Arabica coffees ever . The demand for these ultra-premium coffees has been overwhelming; the first release sold out online within 24 hours, while the second batch sold out in just two hours.
