The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has released an official notification stating that online applications will be accepted for 291 Apprentice posts across various ITI trades from November 15 to November 30, 2025, through the official websites apsrtc.ap.gov.in and apprenticeshipindia.gov.in . The recruitment drive has been opened to fill vacancies in multiple districts, including NTR, Krishna, West Godavari, Eluru, Guntur, Bapatla, and Palnadu. The posts have been notified under designated trades such as Electrician, Diesel Mechanic, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Fitter, Turner, Welder, and Mechanic, with the highest openings reported in the Electrician trade (87 posts) and the NTR district (87 posts). The notification has specified that applicants must have passed SSC (10th Class) and completed an ITI course in the relevant trade from either a Government or Private ITI institution. An NCVT certificate has been made mandatory for acceptance of the application, and candidates have been instructed to apply only for the trade in which their ITI qualification has been obtained. Aadhaar-based e-KYC verification has been made compulsory as part of the application process, and all details such as name, date of birth, and parent details should match those present in the SSC certificate.

A monthly stipend of ₹9,000 will be provided to selected apprentices as per the Apprenticeship Act, and the age criteria will be followed according to the same Act, with relaxations applicable for SC, ST, OBC, and PH candidates. An application fee of ₹118 along with additional portal charges of ₹100 plus GST has been prescribed, and further payment instructions will be made available on the APSRTC website. The application process must be completed through the Apprenticeship India portal, where candidates are required to register, activate their account, log in, complete Aadhaar e-KYC, update their profile, upload educational certificates, and apply for the APSRTC establishment in their respective district. After successful submission, a confirmation message will be displayed on the portal.

The selection process will be based on document verification, Aadhaar e-KYC confirmation, SSC and ITI marks verification, NCVT certificate validation, and assessment of profile completeness. A merit list will be prepared based on qualifications and category norms, and final approval will be given by APSRTC. The document verification schedule and further recruitment updates will be released on the APSRTC website in due course. Candidates have been advised to regularly monitor the official portal to avoid missing important announcements related to merit lists and verification dates.
