Apply Online for 514 Credit Officer Posts in Bank of India

Bank of India (BOI), a leading public sector bank under the Ministry of Finance, has released a notification for the recruitment of 514 Credit Officers in the General Banking Officer (GBO) stream for the 2025–26 recruitment cycle . The vacancies are spread across Middle Management Grade Scale-II (MMGS-II), MMGS-III and Senior Management Grade Scale-IV (SMGS-IV) .

According to the notification (Project No. 2025–26/01), the online application process commenced on December 20, 2025 , and eligible candidates can apply through the official website www.bankofindia.bank.in till January 5, 2026 .

Of the total vacancies, 418 posts are in MMGS-II , 60 in MMGS-III , and 36 in SMGS-IV . Reservations for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and Persons with Disabilities have been provided as per Government of India norms.

Candidates must possess a graduation degree along with prescribed professional qualifications and relevant banking or credit experience , as detailed in Annexure-I of the notification . The age limit , as on November 1, 2025, ranges from 25 to 40 years , depending on the scale applied for, with applicable age relaxations for reserved categories.

The selection process will consist of an online examination followed by a personal interview , or direct interview depending on the number of applications received. The online test, if conducted, will assess candidates on Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and Professional Knowledge , with final selection based on a 70:30 weightage between written test and interview .

The application fee is ₹850 for General and other category candidates , while SC, ST and PwBD candidates are required to pay ₹175 as intimation charges. Selected candidates will be appointed as Group ‘A’ officers and will receive attractive pay scales along with allowances and other service benefits as per bank rules.
