Students aspiring to pursue undergraduate studies but struggling with financial barriers now have a chance to receive support through the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships 2025. The philanthropic arm of Reliance Industries has announced that 5,000 students across India will be selected for financial assistance this year. The last date to apply is October 4, 2025.

The Reliance Foundation, led by Nita Ambani, has been actively working in education, healthcare, and skill development. Along with scholarships, it provides medical and livelihood support to underprivileged citizens. The Foundation recently expanded its initiative to offer scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students in states such as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh.

Under the scheme, selected students will receive up to ₹2 lakh each, directly credited to their bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. The assistance aims to help meritorious students complete their undergraduate degrees without financial stress.

To qualify, applicants must be permanent residents of India, currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, and have scored at least 60% in their Class 12 examinations. They must also appear for an aptitude test conducted by the Foundation. Only students with an annual family income below ₹15 lakh will be considered, with preference given to those from economically weaker families.
