
Apply for 84 lecturer, public prosecutor posts in UPSC
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced a new recruitment drive for a total of 84 posts, including Lecturer, Assistant Public Prosecutor, and Public Prosecutor positions. The online application window is now open, with a strict deadline of September 11, 2025.
The recruitment is a significant opportunity for candidates with specific academic backgrounds. The eligibility criteria require applicants to possess a B.Ed, LLB, M.A, or M.Sc degree. The maximum age limit for these posts is 45 years, with age relaxation applicable as per government rules.
Candidates can submit their applications exclusively through the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in. The online portal for submissions opened on August 23, 2025. It is highly recommended that interested candidates apply well before the September 11 deadline to avoid any last-minute technical issues.
The application fee is set at Rs. 25 for general, OBC, and EWS male candidates. However, UPSC has provided a full fee exemption for all female candidates and those belonging to the SC, ST, and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) categories.

• Assistant Public Prosecutor: 19 posts
