In a first-of-its-kind initiative in Andhra Pradesh, 17 students from 13 joint districts of the state, who emerged as winners in competitions organized under the Super GST–Super Savings campaign, met Honorable Chief Minister Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu at the Secretariat on Friday. The Chief Minister congratulated the students and presented them with certificates of appreciation for their outstanding performance.

The campaign, ambitiously conducted by the state government, aims to educate young minds about GST reforms and promote savings awareness. By focusing on students, the government intends to instill financial literacy early, encourage innovation, and create a ripple effect as knowledge spreads to families and communities.

The competitions challenged students to demonstrate their understanding of GST, explore practical savings strategies, and showcase innovative ideas, fostering both learning and creativity. Winners were rewarded with certificates and personal appreciation from the Chief Minister, making the initiative motivational and memorable.

While other Indian states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Delhi have implemented GST awareness programs through quizzes, workshops, and digital campaigns, Andhra Pradesh’s program is unique in scale and ceremonial recognition, as winners met the Chief Minister personally at the Secretariat. This high-profile engagement highlights the government’s commitment to youth involvement in policy awareness.

Officials emphasized that the initiative is designed to make students informed citizens and change agents, helping them understand the broader significance of GST reforms and financial responsibility. The program is expected to expand further, engaging more students across Andhra Pradesh in similar competitions and awareness drives.
