
AP CM Chandrababu Naidu receives ‘Business Reformer of the Year’ award
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has received another rare honour. Recognising his efforts in governance reforms and industrial development in the state, he was presented with the prestigious ‘Business Reformer of the Year’ award , instituted by a leading media organisation.
Naidu received the award from Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at a special event held in Mumbai on Saturday.
Responding to X after receiving the award, the Chief Minister described it as recognition for the transformational changes undertaken by the government to position Andhra Pradesh as a hub for investments and innovation .
“I humbly accept this honour. It is not just a personal recognition but a reflection of the aspirations and hard work of five crore people of Andhra Pradesh. I dedicate this award to everyone who has contributed to the state’s development,” he said.
The Chief Minister emphasised that improving ease of doing business and attracting global investments remain key priorities of the government. He noted that Andhra Pradesh’s economic strengthening is the result of the collective efforts of cabinet colleagues, officials, policymakers, and industrialists.
Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer congratulated Naidu on receiving the award. In a statement issued from Raj Bhavan, the Governor lauded the Chief Minister’s visionary leadership and swift decision-making , stating that these are transforming the state’s industrial landscape.
He also noted that the government’s focus on key sectors such as IT and green energy has helped Andhra Pradesh gain national recognition.
