Annadata Sukhibhava Boost: MLA Roshan Kumar Presents Cheque to Farmers

The coalition government is committed to prioritizing the welfare of farmers, said Chintalapudi MLA Solomon Roshan Kumar . He announced that ₹20.51 crore has been released as the third installment under the PM Kisan–Annadata Sukhibhava scheme , benefiting 36,818 farmers in the Chintalapudi constituency.

The announcement was made during a large farmers’ gathering held at Dharmajigudem village in Lingapalem mandal on Friday evening, where the MLA attended as the chief guest. Addressing the farmers, he stated that the financial assistance promised by the government has been directly credited to the bank accounts of all eligible beneficiaries across the constituency. On the occasion, a symbolic mega cheque representing the released funds was handed over to the beneficiaries.

Roshan Kumar emphasized that the government’s goal is to strengthen the farming community and enhance farmers’ prosperity . To achieve this, steps are being taken to ensure fair prices for agricultural produce , timely input subsidies , and greater emphasis on farm mechanisation .

He further noted that the long-awaited Chintalapudi Lift Irrigation Project , a major aspiration of the constituency’s people, has been taken up on priority by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu . The government is determined to supply irrigation water to every acre and make the region agriculturally prosperous. He assured farmers that work on the project will begin soon.
