Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to fast-track all approved projects to transform Andhra Pradesh into a national leader in industrial growth and economic expansion. Stressing the need for faster execution, he said the state should become a model not only in ease of doing business but also in the speed of delivering investments on the ground.

During a high-level review meeting, the Chief Minister instructed departments to establish a unified dashboard that can monitor project approvals, implementation progress, investments , and employment generation through a single digital platform. He set ambitious deadlines, asking officials to ensure all sanctioned projects begin operations by September 2026 and become fully functional by December 2028.

The government is placing major emphasis on tourism as a key economic driver. Chandrababu Naidu said tourism ventures would receive top priority in land allocation, followed by IT companies. He also encouraged the creation of integrated infrastructure capable of supporting both tourism and technology sectors.

As part of this strategy, officials were directed to prepare a comprehensive master plan for Bapatla Beach and develop Suryalanka Beach into an international-standard destination under a “Goa Plus” model. The state is also accelerating plans for a temple tourism circuit connecting 21 major spiritual destinations across Andhra Pradesh.

The Chief Minister further emphasized the importance of attracting future-focused industries such as semiconductor and electronics component manufacturing. IT firms receiving approvals have been asked to commence operations within 18 months.

Speaking at the meeting, IT and Industries Minister Nara Lokesh said Andhra Pradesh had secured 756 industrial projects worth ₹21.6 lakh crore over the past 23 months. According to him, these investments are expected to generate employment opportunities for nearly 21.2 lakh youth across the state.

Lokesh also announced that the government would soon launch a dedicated online platform to speed up approvals and services for MSMEs , strengthening support for small and medium businesses.

On the energy front, the Chief Minister called for stronger transmission infrastructure to support the state’s ambitious green energy goals while promoting rooftop solar initiatives. He also directed officials to prepare a focused action plan for expanding ports, airports, shipbuilding hubs, and inland waterways to strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s long-term infrastructure network.
