Andhra Pradesh to send eight-member official team to Davos 2026

In a major move to promote state development and attract investments, the Andhra Pradesh government is sending a high-level delegation to the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos, Switzerland. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will lead the delegation from January 19 to 23. The team comprises eight senior officials and ministers, with all expenses covered by the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board, according to orders issued by Chief Secretary S. Suresh Kumar.

The delegation includes key ministers and senior officials from departments critical to the state’s investment and industrial growth. Alongside CM Chandrababu Naidu, IT and Industries Minister Nara Lokesh and Industries Minister T.G. Bharat will participate. The official members include CMO Secretary Kartikeya Mishra, Industries Secretary N. Yuvraj, IT Secretary Bhaskar Katamneni, Industries Director Shubham Bansal, and a paramedic security officer who will accompany the CM for health and safety arrangements.

The annual Davos meeting brings together world leaders, top industry executives, and policymakers to discuss global economic trends, investment flows, and technological advancements. For Andhra Pradesh, it serves as a key platform to showcase the state’s investment potential. The delegation aims to highlight opportunities in green energy, electronics, manufacturing, digital and IT services, and pharmaceutical industries, while exploring direct partnerships and large-scale investment deals with global CEOs.

Officials emphasized that the visit will also highlight the state’s recent reforms to create a business-friendly environment. Andhra Pradesh has received significant attention at past Davos meetings, and the government hopes this year’s delegation will further elevate the state’s global profile, attract major investments, and strengthen its position on the world economic stage.
