
Andhra Pradesh Aims for AI Leadership: Chandrababu in Key Davos Talks
Aiming to place Andhra Pradesh at the forefront of the international technology landscape, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu began his Switzerland visit on a highly prestigious note. Arriving in Zurich on Monday to participate in the 56th Annual World Economic Forum (WEF) , he spent his first day engaged in a series of high-profile meetings .
During the day, Naidu met with Eros Innovations Chairman Kishore Lulla and Co-Presidents Ridhima Lulla and Swanith Singh , holding crucial discussions on implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) -driven projects in the state . The focus of these talks was on developing a unique GenAI model specifically for Andhra Pradesh .
They explored innovative proposals including an AI-based Film City , virtual production studios , a content super app , and an AI creative tech hub . Plans were also discussed for a virtual reality project , Discover Andhra Pradesh 360 , to elevate the tourism sector to an international level .
Addressing the discussions on the ‘X’ platform , Naidu stated, “Our goal is to transform Andhra Pradesh into a global AI hub . This will generate immense employment opportunities for our youth .”
As part of the WEF summit , he also met Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma , congratulating him on making history as the first Assam CM to attend the forum . Naidu additionally held meetings with Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and World Bank President Ajay Banga .
Under the summit’s theme, A Spirit of Dialogue , Naidu will present Andhra Pradesh’s investment opportunities to delegates from 130 countries . The summit, running in Davos from today until January 23 , is expected to attract significant investments to the state . Following official meetings, the CM is scheduled to address a gathering of Telugu expatriates in Switzerland .
The visit has sparked widespread interest as a key initiative to accelerate Andhra Pradesh’s technological revolution .
