Andhra BIE releases Inter 2026 exam fee schedule
The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has officially released the schedule and fee structure for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) set to take place in March 2026. This announcement provides a clear timeline for students and colleges to complete the necessary fee payments.
According to a notification issued by BIE Secretary Kritika Shukla, the fee payment window for both first- and second-year students is scheduled to open on September 15, 2025. All eligible candidates including regular students, those who have failed previous exams, and even attendance-exempted candidates are urged to pay their fees by the initial deadline of October 10, 2025, to avoid any late charges.
Principals and college administrators have been given strict instructions that no further extensions will be granted for fee collection after the final deadline. A late fee of Rs 1,000 will be imposed on all payments made between October 11 and October 21, 2025. The BIE emphasizes that this is the final grace period, and institutions must ensure all student fees are submitted within this time frame.
The BIE has provided a comprehensive breakdown of the fees for various categories of students and subjects:
• Theory Papers: The examination fee for theory papers is Rs 600 per year.
• Practical Exams: A separate fee of Rs 275 is charged for practical examinations.
• Bridge Course Subjects: Students taking bridge course subjects will be charged Rs 165, with vocational bridge course practicals costing Rs 275.
For students appearing for both first and second-year papers simultaneously, a combined fee applies: Rs 1,200 for theory and Rs 550 for practicals. Reappearing candidates who hold a certificate will have a specific fee structure: Rs 1,350 for arts stream candidates and Rs 1,600 for science stream candidates.
The BIE is urging all eligible candidates and their respective college managements to complete the fee payment process on time to ensure a smooth registration and examination process.
