T-Series head Bhushan Kumar has officially confirmed that filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga will collaborate with Telugu superstar Allu Arjun on a future project, putting to rest speculation around the much-discussed combination. The announcement came as part of a broader production roadmap shared by Kumar, outlining the director’s upcoming films under the banner.

According to the plan, Vanga’s immediate focus will be Spirit , starring Prabhas , which is slated for a 2027 release. This will be followed by Animal Park , the sequel to the 2023 blockbuster Animal , with Ranbir Kapoor reprising his role. The untitled film featuring Allu Arjun is expected to go on floors only after these commitments are completed.

The Vanga–Allu Arjun project was first revealed in March 2023 and generated strong buzz due to the director’s reputation for intense, character-driven storytelling. Vanga has previously delivered commercially successful and polarising films such as Arjun Reddy , Kabir Singh and Animal , while Allu Arjun’s pan-India popularity has surged after the massive success of Pushpa: The Rise .

Industry sources indicate that scheduling has been the primary reason for the delay. Allu Arjun is currently committed to AA22 with director Atlee and AA23 with Lokesh Kanagaraj, two large-scale projects that have pushed the Vanga collaboration further down the timeline.

Recent reports and a circulating interview clip of Bhushan Kumar, however, have reaffirmed that the project is very much on track. While no title, genre details or supporting cast have been announced yet, the film is expected to begin only after Animal Park , placing its likely release around 2029 or later.

With T-Series backing the venture, the combination of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s uncompromising filmmaking style and Allu Arjun’s mass appeal is already being seen as one of the most anticipated collaborations in Indian cinema’s long-term slate.
