Allu Arjun Announces Action Epic #AA23 With Lokesh Kanagaraj

After the thunderous success of Pushpa 2: The Rule , Allu Arjun has officially announced his next ambitious project, a first-time collaboration with acclaimed filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj . The film, tentatively titled #AA23 , was unveiled this Pongal through a striking animated announcement video, ending months of speculation.

The animated teaser opens on vast open fields at dawn , alive with wildlife, before transitioning to a solitary figure Allu Arjun walking past a blazing fire deep inside a forest. One of the most arresting visuals shows the actor atop a hill, attempting to rein in a restless horse , symbolising control, power and inner conflict.

The teaser builds towards a powerful metaphorical climax, where a pack of wolves charges at a lion , only to be silenced by a thunderous roar. The clip concludes with the words “A Lokesh Kanagaraj Film” and the tagline “Strive for greatness” , confirming that shooting will commence in 2026 .

AA23 marks Allu Arjun’s 23rd film and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s seventh directorial venture (#LK7) . The project brings together a formidable team, with Anirudh Ravichander on music and Mythri Movie Makers backing the film. Designed as a pan-India action spectacle , the film is expected to blend Lokesh’s gritty, high-octane storytelling with Allu Arjun’s unmatched mass appeal.
