All Government Services To Go Online By December: CM Chandrababu

N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to bring all government services fully online by December this year, aiming to eliminate the need for citizens to visit offices.

At a high-level review meeting on Real Time Governance Society (RTGS), the Chief Minister stressed expanding WhatsApp-based governance by integrating all services under the “Mana Mitra” platform. The move is intended to make public service delivery more accessible and citizen-friendly.

Officials informed that 1,035 services are currently available through WhatsApp governance. Since its launch, around 5.4 million people have utilized nearly 17.8 million services . To boost adoption, awareness campaigns have reached over 2.4 million citizens across the state.

In parallel, the government is accelerating work on the ambitious Drone City project in Kurnool. Land has already been allocated to eight companies , with industrial activity expected to begin by the second week of May. With the master plan finalized, the Chief Minister has set a July deadline for completing Phase 1 .

On law enforcement, officials highlighted the growing role of CCTV surveillance in crime control. Andhra Pradesh now leads the country in CCTV installations and monitoring, significantly aiding crime prevention, suspect identification, missing persons cases, and vehicle theft investigations. The CM also called for integrating data from private cameras in uncovered areas and increasing public awareness.

He further instructed officials to strengthen real-time response systems using satellite data. Referring to recent forest fire incidents in Seshachalam Hills near Tirupati, he emphasized linking satellite inputs with RTGS for faster emergency response .

Addressing recent disruptions in fuel supply, the Chief Minister said the state successfully managed the diesel and petrol shortage through swift intervention. He urged officials to enhance real-time monitoring systems to anticipate and prevent such issues in the future.
