Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s action thriller Alpha has made its streaming debut on Netflix, bringing the first female-led chapter of the Yash Raj Films Spy Universe to audiences at home. The film began streaming on August 28, following its theatrical release on July 3, where it reportedly earned around ₹99 crore worldwide.

Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha places Alia Bhatt at the centre of a high-stakes story involving espionage, betrayal and a mysterious secret serum programme. Alia plays Sita, a highly trained killer whose life becomes entangled in a dangerous mission with consequences that extend far beyond the world of covert operations.
