Alia Bhatt's Production 'Don't Be Shy' Brings a Fresh Coming-of-Age Tale to Prime Video

Alia Bhatt has unveiled the teaser of 'Shy', a coming-of-age film that follows the unexpected twists in the life of a young woman whose carefully planned future suddenly goes off course.

The upcoming Prime Video original is produced by Alia Bhatt and her sister Shaheen Bhatt under their banner, Eternal Sunshine Productions. Directed by Sreeti Mukerji, the film centres on Shy, a 20-year-old whose carefully mapped-out life takes an unexpected turn.

As her plans begin to unravel, Shy finds herself navigating unfamiliar situations, relationships and emotions while trying to make sense of the changes around her. The story explores the uncertainty of growing up, when expectations and reality do not always move in the same direction.

The film features a group of fresh faces, including Aarushi Bajaj, Ansh Duggal, Bianca Arora and Piyush Khati, in key roles. They are joined by experienced actors Kunaal Roy Kapur, Anurag Basu, Neha Dhupia and Anju Alva Naik.
