Ajit Doval Holds Talks With UAE President On Partnership, Regional Situation

India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on Sunday met Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan , President of the United Arab Emirates, to review bilateral ties and discuss key regional developments .

According to the Indian Embassy in the UAE, Doval conveyed greetings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his official visit . The discussions focused on measures to further strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership , alongside deliberations on the evolving regional situation and other issues of mutual interest.

The meeting comes as part of India’s ongoing diplomatic outreach in the Gulf region . Earlier this month, Doval visited Saudi Arabia, where he held high-level talks with senior leaders, including Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, Energy Minister Abdulaziz bin Salman, and National Security Advisor Musaed Al-Aiban. The discussions there similarly centered on bilateral relations , the regional situation , and cooperation across key sectors.

Doval’s visit to the UAE also comes amid uncertainty over the second round of peace talks between the United States and Iran, reportedly being facilitated by Pakistan.

The series of engagements highlights intensifying diplomatic activity in the region amid shifting geopolitical dynamics .
