AIS & CICS officers complete special foundation course, Deputy CM attends graduation ceremony

The graduation ceremony for the All India Services (AIS) & Central Integrated Civil Services (CICS) Officers Special Foundation Course - 2025 was held at the Dr. Marri Channareddy Institute of Human Resource Development in Jubilee Hills. Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Batti Vikramarka and IT & Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu attended the event as chief guests.

Addressing the young civil servants, Deputy CM Batti Vikramarka urged them to see themselves not just as officials, but as public servants. He emphasized that integrity, reliability, and compassion should form the foundation of their work. Highlighting the importance of corruption-free governance, courage, and humility, he said decisions should always prioritize the needs of the people. He added that bringing positive change to citizens’ lives is the true measure of success.

Minister D. Sridhar Babu stressed that governance is more than managing files and rules; it’s about building human connections with the public. He highlighted that honesty matters more than perfection in administration, and internal weaknesses like arrogance, indifference, and corruption are often more dangerous than external pressures. He urged officers to responsibly use technology to make governance more accessible and to stay connected with the people, rather than limiting themselves to office spaces.

Both leaders congratulated the officers on completing their rigorous training successfully and encouraged them to uphold constitutional values and ethics, maintaining the public’s trust as they continue their service.
