Senior Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) leader Jayant Patil has launched an innovative AI-based platform, ‘Jayant Udaan’, aimed at providing career guidance and mentorship to young people across Maharashtra. The platform is accessible at www.jayantudaan.com and is designed to bridge the gap between ambition and opportunity.

The app uses artificial intelligence to deliver personalised career recommendations, mentorship, and information on various educational and professional pathways. Speaking at the launch, Patil said the initiative seeks to empower the state’s youth with direction and support to achieve their goals. “Youngsters today are full of energy, ambition, and talent. What they often lack is proper guidance and opportunities to move forward. ‘Jayant Udaan’ will serve as a trusted platform to help them take informed steps toward their future,” he said.

The app especially targets students from smaller towns and rural areas, leveraging technology to connect them with expert mentors and resources. By providing guidance on career choices, skill development, and higher education opportunities, the initiative aims to equip young people with tools to enhance employability.

Maharashtra has been grappling with a significant youth unemployment challenge. As of mid-2025, over 71 lakh individuals were registered as unemployed, and urban youth unemployment, particularly among women, has been reported at around 6%, above the national average. Experts say lack of proper career guidance contributes to this growing challenge.

‘Jayant Udaan’ is expected to help reduce unemployment by enabling young people to make informed career decisions, develop relevant skills, and access mentorship opportunities that increase their chances of employment. By linking talent with opportunity and providing AI-powered guidance, the platform seeks to transform the job readiness of Maharashtra’s youth.

Patil emphasized that the initiative reflects the party’s commitment to youth empowerment through innovation, education, and technology, aiming to turn ambition into actionable career success.
