AIIMS Mangalagiri invites applications for 121 faculty posts

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Mangalagiri, has announced a major recruitment drive for 2025, inviting applications for 121 Faculty (Group A) posts across different designations. The notification, published on September 27, 2025, provides details for vacancies in the categories of Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor.

The faculty positions include 15 Professors, 9 Additional Professors, 25 Associate Professors, and 72 Assistant Professors. Candidates with the required qualifications MD, MS, DM, M.Ch., M.Sc, or Ph.D.—are eligible to apply.

For Professors and Additional Professors, the maximum age limit is 58 years, while for Associate and Assistant Professors, the limit is 50 years. Relaxations in the upper age limit apply to SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and government employees as per Government of India rules.

The posts demand significant academic and research experience: 14 years for Professors, 10 years for Additional Professors, 6 years for Associate Professors, and 3 years for Assistant Professors after the qualifying degree.

The positions fall under the pay matrix of ₹1,01,500 – ₹1,68,900, offering a stable and attractive career opportunity in one of India’s premier medical institutes.

After online submission, applicants must send signed hard copies of their applications along with relevant documents to the institute’s recruitment cell within 10 days of the online application deadline.

The selection will be conducted by a Standing Selection Committee, ensuring merit-based recruitment. Application fees are fixed at ₹3100 for UR/EWS/OBC candidates, ₹2100 for SC/ST/Women candidates, and ₹100 for PwBD candidates.
