Aditya Dhar celebrates birthday as ‘Aari Aari’ from Dhurandhar: The Revenge raises excitement

Filmmaker Aditya Dhar marked his 43rd birthday on Thursday amid widespread wishes from fans and film industry colleagues, coinciding with the release of the title track “Aari Aari” from his upcoming film Dhurandhar: The Revenge . The song’s launch has further heightened anticipation for the action sequel, which is scheduled to release in theatres on March 19.

The energetic track blends Punjabi folk rhythms with modern rap and contemporary beats. Composed by Shashwat Sachdev , the song features vocals by Navtej Singh Rehal, Khan Saab, Jasmine Sandlas and Sudhir Y , along with rap segments by Reble . The music video presents glimpses of intense action sequences and colourful festival settings, moving from chaotic urban landscapes to large-scale crowd celebrations.

The visuals prominently feature Ranveer Singh in dual anti-hero roles. The film also brings together a strong ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna and Sara Arjun.

Adding a personal touch to the celebrations, actor Yami Gautam shared a behind-the-scenes photograph from the film’s set on social media with the caption “To my one and only,” drawing warm reactions from fans. Production houses Jio Studios and B62 Studios also extended birthday wishes to Aditya Dhar , describing him as the “King of Peak Detailing” for his meticulous approach to filmmaking.

Dhar first gained nationwide recognition with the blockbuster Uri: The Surgical Strike , which earned more than ₹340 crore worldwide . He later continued his success with Dhurandhar, reportedly collecting around ₹1300 crore globally.

With the sequel gearing up for release, trade analysts say Dhurandhar: The Revenge is already building strong momentum. Advance bookings in India have reportedly crossed ₹24 crore, while pre-sales in North America have surpassed $2 million, signalling strong global interest ahead of its multi-language theatrical debut.
