Indian golfer Aditi Ashok endured a disappointing final round at the 2026 Amundi Evian Championship , carding a three-over 74 to finish tied 56th in the year's fourth women's Major.

Aditi had put herself in a promising position after posting rounds of 70, 70 and 69 over the opening three days. However, she struggled to maintain momentum in the final round, slipping down the leaderboard after an inconsistent performance.

The Indian star made a bogey on the opening hole and dropped further shots on the fifth and sixth. Although she responded with birdies on the third and 13th holes, four bogeys overall left her with a 74 for the day, resulting in a modest finish.

At the top of the leaderboard, South Korea's Hae Ran Ryu continued her remarkable run of form by capturing her second consecutive Major title. Ryu sealed victory with a birdie on the first playoff hole to defeat Canada's Brooke Henderson.

The triumph came just two weeks after Ryu claimed the 2026 KPMG Women's PGA Championship , making it back-to-back Major victories and further cementing her status as one of the leading players in women's golf.

The win also carried special significance for the South Korean, who had lifted the Amundi Evian Juniors Cup at the same venue in 2015. More than a decade later, she returned to the course to add one of the sport's biggest titles to her growing list of achievements.
