Aadarsha Kutumbam: Venkatesh’s Popular ‘Dandalayya Undralayya’ To Get A Remix

Victory Venkatesh’s upcoming family entertainer ‘Aadarsha Kutumbam’ is set to bring back a popular classic from the actor’s career. According to the latest reports, Venkatesh’s chartbuster ‘Dandalayya Undralayya’ from ‘Coolie No. 1’ will be remixed for the upcoming film.

The original song continues to enjoy strong popularity, particularly during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, where it is frequently played at Ganesh mandaps. The decision to bring back the nostalgic number is expected to appeal to Venkatesh’s longtime fans, while the new version could give the track a contemporary treatment.

‘Aadarsha Kutumbam’ marks the first directorial collaboration between Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas, making the project one of the most anticipated family entertainers in Telugu cinema. Trivikram has previously penned dialogues for several Venkatesh films, including ‘Malliswari’ and ‘Nuvvu Naku Nachav’, but this marks their first collaboration as actor and director.

The film features Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead, while Nara Rohit, Pujita Ponnada, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji and others are part of the cast. Thaman is composing the music, with the remix expected to add another mass and nostalgic element to the film’s soundtrack.

Produced by S. Radha Krishna under the Haarika & Hassine Creations banner, ‘Aadarsha Kutumbam’ was initially expected to arrive earlier but was postponed. The film is now scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 2, 2026, coinciding with the Gandhi Jayanti holiday.

While the makers have not yet revealed the full details of the remix, the return of ‘Dandalayya Undralayya’ has already generated curiosity among Venkatesh fans. The key expectation now is to see how Trivikram and Thaman rework the much loved vintage number for a new generation.
