After a commanding 100-run victory over England in the ICC Under-19 World Cup final on February 6, India’s U19 cricket team celebrated their record sixth World Cup title in a delightfully unique way, posing for a fun photoshoot with giraffes and elephants at Harare’s Wild is Life Wildlife Sanctuary.

The final saw a sensational performance from 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi , who smashed a record 175 off just 80 balls , including 15 fours and 15 sixes, while Mhatre contributed key runs to help India post a massive 411/9 . With this win, Mhatre became the sixth Indian captain to lift the U19 World Cup trophy, joining cricketing legends like Virat Kohli .

Fans were charmed not just by the team’s cricketing brilliance but also by their playful wildlife selfies, which captured a lighter, more human side of the young champions. Despite the celebrations, Suryavanshi stayed grounded, telling reporters, “There’s still a long way to go.”

The team’s combination of skill, youthful energy, and humility has captured the imagination of cricket fans worldwide, signaling that the future of Indian cricket is as bright as ever.
