
9th Edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha to Connect Over 4.5 Crore Students Nationwide Today
The 9th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) , the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s unique interactive programme with students , will be today, at 10 am . This year marks a historic milestone as the programme will be conducted from multiple locations nationwide for the first time.
Students will join live sessions from five major locations : Delhi (7 Lok Kalyan Marg), Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Dev Mogra (Gujarat), and Guwahati (Assam) , covering the North, South, East, West, and Central regions of India. According to official data, over 4.50 crore students, teachers, and parents have registered through the MyGov portal to participate, making this edition the largest PPC event to date .
The programme, which has evolved into a nationwide Jan Andolan , aims to discuss exam stress, build confidence, and promote holistic well-being among students, treating examinations as an Utsav . In alignment with NEP 2020 , PPC seeks to reshape students’ examination experiences with positivity and encouragement.
Leading up to the event, various student-centric activities were organised across schools, including the Swadeshi Sankalp Daud , a run/walk promoting self-reliance, and quiz and writing competitions in selected Kendriya Vidyalayas on Parakram Diwas, with approximately 4.81 crore students participating.
Over the past eight editions, PPC has grown from a single-location interaction to a nationwide phenomenon , witnessing unprecedented participation from students, parents, and teachers, and reinforcing the value of dialogue on exam preparedness and stress management.
The 9th edition will be telecast live on Doordarshan, PM Modi’s YouTube channel, and the Ministry of Education’s social media platforms , with streaming also available on Amazon Prime Video, ZEE5, Sony LIV, Jio, WAVES OTT , and Spotify (audio) .
