₹90 Lakh Medical Equipment Donated to TTD’s Sri Padmavathi Children’s Heart Centre

In a gesture combining devotion and social responsibility, Madhurima Singh, Executive Director of the Mumbai-based LKEM Foundation , donated medical equipment worth ₹90 lakh to the Sri Padmavathi Children’s Heart Centre , a pediatric cardiac hospital run under Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams . The contribution reflects her reverence toward Sri Venkateswara Swamy while supporting life-saving healthcare services for children. The equipment was formally handed over at a special programme held at the hospital premises in Tirupati.

The donation includes advanced ventilators, patient monitors, humidifiers, and High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) systems critical devices used in pediatric intensive care units to manage children with severe cardiac and respiratory complications. Hospital authorities stated that this addition will significantly strengthen ICU care and improve survival chances among critically ill children undergoing heart treatment.

Officials noted that the Children’s Heart Centre functions under TTD’s medical service initiatives, which extend beyond spiritual activities into healthcare and education. The hospital provides free diagnosis, surgeries, and post-operative care for newborns and children up to 18 years suffering from congenital and acquired heart diseases, particularly benefiting families from economically weaker sections. The institution operates with donor support and charitable trusts associated with TTD’s medical outreach programmes.

Within a short span of its establishment, the hospital has reportedly performed over 2,000 complex pediatric heart surgeries, earning recognition in the field of charitable cardiac care. Medical experts say that the newly donated equipment will further elevate treatment standards, allowing doctors to deliver more advanced respiratory and cardiac support to young patients in critical condition.

This contribution highlights how faith-driven philanthropy continues to strengthen public healthcare, ensuring that children with life-threatening heart conditions receive advanced treatment without financial burden.
