38th National book exhibition to open at NTR stadium on December 19 in Hyderabad

Book lovers in Hyderabad have something to look forward to as the prestigious 38th National Book Exhibition is set to open later this month. The event will officially kick off on December 19 at 5 PM at NTR Stadium.

Organised by the Hyderabad Book Fair Trust, the exhibition is expected to attract large crowds, including students, teachers, researchers, and literature enthusiasts. More than 300 stalls will showcase a wide range of books in Telugu, English, and other Indian languages. Visitors can explore academic publications, literary works, children’s books, competitive exam guides, and popular knowledge titles all under one roof.

Several leading publishers will also unveil their latest releases and may offer special discounts for readers. The exhibition will run until December 29, open daily from 1 PM to 9 PM . Alongside book sales, attendees can participate in literary sessions, author interactions, and cultural programmes promoting the reading culture.

Organisers have invited students, families, and young readers from across the city to attend, promising a vibrant platform for book enthusiasts to connect and celebrate literature.
