TTD Receives Massive ₹3 Cr Offering from Devotee
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) received a major donation of ₹3 crore on Saturday. The contribution was made by PMS Prasad, a senior corporate executive associated with Reliance Industries.
Mr. Prasad personally handed over the demand draft to TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal at the TTD administrative building in Tirumala.
According to an official statement issued by TTD, the donated amount has been allocated to various trusts under the Devasthanams. These funds will be used to improve facilities for devotees, support religious and spiritual activities, expand service-oriented initiatives, and meet other administrative needs of the temple.
TTD, which manages the world-famous Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Tirumala, continues to attract millions of devotees from India and across the globe. Through donations, offerings, and trust-based revenues, the institution regularly undertakes large-scale initiatives in annadanam (free meals), education, healthcare, and social welfare.
Officials noted that such generous contributions from corporate leaders and prominent individuals strengthen the temple’s ability to serve devotees and carry forward its religious and social responsibilities.
