
₹1.51 Crore Donation Boosts TTD Pranadana Trust’s Lifesaving Mission
A substantial donation has been made to strengthen the charitable healthcare initiatives undertaken by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams under the blessings of Sri Venkateswara Temple. The Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust received a massive contribution of ₹1.51 crore from PMS Prasad, who handed over the amount in the form of a demand draft during a programme held at the temple premises in Tirumala.
The contribution was formally presented to temple officials at the Ranganayakula Mandapam. TTD authorities appreciated the generous gesture, stating that such philanthropic support plays a crucial role in expanding welfare programmes for the poor and needy. Officials noted that donations from devotees and corporate leaders continue to help the trust provide advanced medical care to financially struggling patients.
Established in 2001 , the Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust has emerged as a major source of relief for underprivileged patients suffering from critical illnesses . The trust offers completely free treatment for costly medical conditions related to the heart , kidneys, neurological disorders and cancer , bringing hope to thousands of economically weaker families.
Recognised as one of the world’s wealthiest Hindu shrines, Sri Venkateswara Temple, under the administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, continues to carry out several social service and spiritual initiatives.
