14,967 posts announced for KVS and NVS Teaching and Non-teaching recruitment 2025

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) have officially announced the recruitment of 14,967 Teaching and Non-Teaching posts for 2025, providing a significant opportunity for qualified candidates across India. The online application process commenced on 14 November 2025 and will close on 4 December 2025. Interested candidates are required to apply exclusively through the official websites – kvsangathan.nic.in and navodaya.gov.in . The recruitment covers a wide range of posts, including Assistant Commissioner, Principal, Vice Principal, Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), Primary Teachers (PRTs), Librarians, and various Non-Teaching positions, with salary packages reaching up to ₹2,09,200 per month depending on the post and level of experience.

The vacancies are divided between KVS and NVS. KVS offers a total of 9,126 posts, including 8 Assistant Commissioner, 134 Principal, 58 Vice Principal, 1,465 PGTs, 2,794 TGTs, 147 Librarians, 3,365 PRTs, and 1,155 Non-Teaching posts. NVS has a total of 5,841 posts, comprising 93 Principal, 9 Assistant Commissioner, 1,513 PGTs, 18 PGTs (Modern Indian Language), 2,978 TGTs, 443 TGTs (3rd language), and 787 Non-Teaching positions. Eligibility varies by post, with qualifications ranging from Master’s degrees, B.Ed, integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed, Post Graduate degrees, and Class XII or Graduate-level qualifications for teaching and non-teaching roles. Candidates must be between 18 and 50 years of age, with age relaxations applicable as per government norms.

The application fee differs according to the post and category. For posts such as Assistant Commissioner, Principal, and Vice Principal, the fee is ₹2,800 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and ₹500 for SC/ST/PH/ESM candidates. For PGTs, TGTs, PRTs, AE, Finance Officer, AO, Librarian, ASO, and Junior Translator posts, the fee is ₹2,000 for General/OBC/EWS and ₹500 for SC/ST/PH/ESM, while posts like SSA, Stenographer, JSA, Lab Attendant, and Multi-Tasking Staff require ₹1,700 for General/OBC/EWS and ₹500 for SC/ST/PH/ESM.

The selection process includes a two-tier examination followed by an interview or document verification. Final merit lists will be prepared by assigning 85% weightage to Tier-2 marks and 15% to the interview, which is conducted out of 100 marks. Candidates shortlisted for interviews are required to submit a medical certificate confirming their fitness for the applied role. Selected candidates in NVS will also receive allowances, including a 10% special allowance for residential duties, except for the post of Assistant Commissioner (Academics). The examination comprises four parts: General Awareness & Current Affairs, Basic Computer Knowledge, English Language Competency, and Competency in One Other Modern Indian Language, with a total of 100 questions worth 300 marks.

Candidates must possess a valid personal email ID and mobile number, and all personal details, including name, date of birth, and category, must match official documents.
