The 13th International Art of Giving Day , inspired by Achyuta Samanta, was celebrated across 190 countries and nearly 50,000 locations worldwide , including extensive participation across India and Odisha. The initiative reportedly impacted around 2.5 crore people this year.

Celebrated with the theme “Share to Shine,” the day promotes the idea of sharing happiness, kindness, and resources to build a more compassionate and inclusive society. The movement encourages community service, social harmony, and collective growth by inspiring people to help others without expecting anything in return.

As part of this year’s celebrations, organisers distributed volleyball infrastructure at over 3,000 locations in Odisha and handed out around 9,100 volleyballs to encourage youth participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

A major event in Bhubaneswar featured the unveiling of the Art of Giving theme song sung by Shaan and was attended by personalities including Leander Paes and Nikita Porwal. The event also honoured social contributors through the AOG Hero Awards .

The significance of the movement lies in promoting values of empathy, volunteerism, social responsibility, and unity across communities worldwide.
