The makers of Suriya’s upcoming film VishwanathAndSons , directed by Venky Atluri , have taken a step closer to unveiling the film’s first glimpse after the Telugu teaser received clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The certification was issued by Hyderabad CBFC officer Rahul Gowlikar , paving the way for the teaser’s release.

Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi shared the update on social media, confirming that the one-minute-and-44-second teaser has officially been cleared by the board. The development comes days after the makers revealed the film’s title on March 2 , which quickly caught the attention of fans online.

Adding to the intrigue, Suriya himself shared a note describing the film as a story about “love with a difference and family with a purpose.” While the makers have not yet confirmed the teaser launch date, industry buzz suggests it could be released around the Ugadi festival on March 19 , a festive occasion often chosen for major film announcements in the Telugu industry.

VishwanathAndSons marks Suriya’s 46th film and is expected to blend emotional storytelling with commercial appeal under the direction of Venky Atluri , known for crafting family-oriented dramas. The film also features Mamitha Baiju in a key role, with G.V. Prakash Kumar composed the music.
