Union Health Minister J P Nadda told the Rajya Sabha that 14.8 crore children and pregnant women have been registered on the U-WIN portal, India’s digital platform for tracking routine immunisation, as of February 3. The portal enables QR code-based vaccination certificates, sends SMS reminders, and helps health workers identify and follow up with children due for vaccines, strengthening coverage under the Universal Immunisation Programme.
